Hospital Stay
Adelle's delivery went so well. We count ourselves very lucky for such a fast smooth delivery. I think the birth stories are pretty personal so I won't share too much. I woke up around 2:00 am and we got to the hospital around 3:30 am. She was here by 5:00 am. It was so quick and a total different experience than with Archie. Archie was a slow 15 hours and non painful delivery. This one was fast and very painful. I think I prefer the fast and painful.
I love the hospital stays. It is so relaxing and so helpful in the recovery process. I ordered a strawberry milkshake with every meal. It was so yummy. The nurses were awesome and very supportive. The best part of all was being able to spend some quiet one-on-one time with my sweet new baby girl. Archie was able to stay with his friends during the day and Drew would take him home at night. It all worked out perfectly.

I just love your blog :) Thanks for the updates on your cute little fam!
I'm with you, I just love the hospital stay and that precious one on one time! And I'm glad things went well for you. She's a doll. I'm excited for your family, already I'm missing the newborn stage, so soak it all up :)
So cute!! Keep the pictures coming. I just wish I could kiss on those sweet cheeks. Love you all!
1.5 hour delivery? Sign me up. I want quick and painful and then have it over.. Well.. what I don't know? :)
As for Downton Abbey if you're a fan of period pieces this is a great show. It's about a family in England in the early 1900 living in a huge house and it goes over their lives and those of their servants. You can stream the whole first season on netflix, and the other four episodes of season two can be found on PBS. I seriously knitted and watched all of them last weekend (I know.. pathetic.):) It would be a great show to watch while nursing!
Cute Cute Megan. I agree with Elsha. So ready to give both Adelle and Archie lots of hugs and kisses.
ok, for one, i didn't look that good coming home from the hospital. you seriously look amazing!!! and the pictures you take are always so cute and very creative. i really need to learn how to use my new camera. i'm so happy for you guys! she is a doll.
Megan, she is gorgeous! I loved this whole post, every picture is darling. And talk about looking amazing right after giving birth- you are beautiful. Adding a new addition to the fam is so exciting. Congrats! Hope every one is adjusting well. Tell Drew hi for us and give those kiddos a snuggle.
